Old Tin Collection

Just wanted to show you all a few of my tin containers
I have collected over the years.
I  have some more tins here and there throughout the house.
I will have to take some pictures of them also.
My favorite is the Huntley & Palmers Dinner Biscuit Tin Box.
Which one is your favorite?

Actually they are all favorites!

Another fortunate find at the Brimfield Flea Market in Mass.
This Oak Hoosier is in great condition all original.
Very excited to have found it and it's been in my kitchen for years now.

Have a great day!

  2. Hi, hopped over from Knick of Time. I love your tin collection. I have quite a few, but don't think mine are as old. They are being stored in my basement for when we finish it. I too have a hoosier that looks alot like yours. Mine is missing the flour sifter. (I think that I love it, but could not use it in our new home. It's so open and I had no wall space. I love it and will not part with it's what it's called. It too will go in the basement kitchen area, someday. I am glad to have found your blog. Now a new follower.
    Hugs,
    Jann

  3. Ha-ha, just read back my comment. So sorry, looks like some of my type jumped up to another line. My laptop does that now and then. Hopefully you can figure out what I meant.
    Sorry!
